We use only the highest quality organic ingredients, and our spa manager is available to meet with guests at the beginning of their stay to recommend a menu of appropriate treatments.

This month's feature is The Perfect Tan.

THE PERFECT TAN

Achieving the perfect long lasting tan is a result of properly preparing the skin prior to exposure to the sun combined with re-hydration following tanning to increase the "life" of the tan and provide a radiant glow to the skin. This two step process starts on the guest's first day with a:

Brown Sugar and Jojoba Oil Body Scrub.

Before tanning the skin is gently exfoliated with a scrub of indigenous cane sugar and jojoba oil. This removes dried skin from the outer layer of the body, enhancing the skin's ability to tan. A hot oil scalp and hair treatment is applied during the rub to protect the hair from the drying effects of sun and sea exposure. A cool shower is followed by a massage using a cucumber and aloe lotion to moisturize the skin and prepare it for the sun.

To maximize the life of the tan, rehydrate, and give the skin a healthy glow the guest is treated to another treatment at the end of their stay.

Aloe and Lavender Body Wrap

The sun tanned skin is rehydrated with a full body wrap using fresh cucumber infused with essential oil of lavender. Fresh cucumber are placed on the eyes and the guest can choose between a mini-hydrating facial or scalp and hai r treatment during the wrap. Following a cool shower, the skin is massaged with a moisturizing lotion containing aloe and cucumber, to seal in the effects from the wrap and leave the skin looking healthy and glowing
